But of Course, Brown Horse

So since our arrival in the USA I have had the good fortune to be reintroduced to quite a large family. 3 Grandmas, 4 Grandpas, 4 Uncles, 1 Aunt, 2 Great Grandparents and a few pretend Aunts and Uncles that are friends of my parents. But my favorite was my Great Grandmas horse. I loved him he ate a milk bone right out of my hand. I may not be able to keep the names of the grandparents straight but I have only met one horse and he was GREAT!

I Do miss Te-Ta I do!

Before we left my Nanny Cettina had us all over for one last dinner. I will never be able to understand what a huge part of my life she was. Here is to you Te-Ta your family and to my beloved Sicily, we miss you. Aunt Ally, Uncle Mike and Sully, we miss you too!

Ciao' Sicily

Just in case you haven't noticed I have been MIA for a few weeks. It is really my parents fault, they up and moved us across the ocean. The movers tried to pack me but my Mom stopped them at the last second, I guess I was being good that day! Crazy is the only way to describe it. I was not that concerned as to where all my things had gone. Running around a house with nothing in it at all is wicked fun. My parents made me say over and over that all my toys had gone to " Nanas" and I would see them soon. I never really liked them anyway, but I do miss digging in that pots and pan cabinet.

What did you say to me?

This is my new face. I use it in many ways. Not limited to but including, when mom and dad tell me no; before or after throwing a fit, when asked to do something I don't care to do at the moment, etc. It is an art actually. I set my jaw very tight, grind my teeth which my mother hates, jut my chin towards the offender and usually throw any innocent object that is within my reach, crashing to the floor. This face does not make my parents happy. They think I am too little to be so defiant, my mom says I used to be so sweet. I think I like my new face, maybe this week I will keep the face and maybe throw in that no word they use all the time. I will keep you posted...

I can fly

Mom loves this picture. It reminds her of Dumbo the flying elephant. I was a little offended personally, being compared to an elephant and all but what ever.

Suckers make everything all better...

Lately Mom and Dad have had to be a little more lets say, gentle with me. Bribing has been more frequent due to the fact that they are up rooting me from the only home I have ever known, flying across the ocean to be thrown into the open arms of multiple grandparents that haven't seen me in months. I know something is going on and I have been acting out a little to show my discontentment. So Mom mixed my favorite play time in the tub with my favorite distraction, suckers for a peaceful end to a chaotic evening. Just ignore the fact that one hand is under the water I didn't want the pictures of be exposing!

Ho Ho Ahhhhhh...

My mom and Dad took me to see Santa on base this past weekend. We have been talking about him for a few weeks now so I was prepared. Sullivan on the other hand was caught a little off guard. Last year I freaked out so we are even.

Again, Again

This past weekend started off the Holiday season here in Sigonella for all of us. Mom took Friday off and I spent the day with Sullivan shopping in Catania, running errands, and just hanging out. That night they took us to see the most amazing thing. Santa came here, all the way here to Sicily to turn the lights on the Christmas tree in our big square on base. I have been practicing for 2 weeks now and have perfected my Ho Ho Ho response. I can tell you what Santa says if you call him Santa or if you ask what " Babbo Natale" says, that is Santa's Italian name. My parents are very proud and make me say it all the time. After we ate dinner and went to the room of all rooms, the bouncy house room. The base set up the gym with every bouncy house possible. I am talking hundreds of square feet of air, plastic, and pure childhood joy. I didn't want to leave I bounced and bounced like I had done it all my life. Well lets be honest I bounced when I got coordinated enough to stand on my 2 feet for more that 3 seconds. Fun lets just say I had loads of FUN!

Giving Thanks

When your family is far away ( like when your dad drags your mom across the ocean and knocks her up, with the grandparents only grandchild) you tend to find another sort of family. At least that is what we in the Georger house have done. This Thanksgiving we shared our festive holiday with our Sicily family and let me tell you it was finger lickin good! It is times like these when I am reminded how much everyone loves me.
Do you think it is because I am so cute?

Hello Again, I am Back

Well, lets see my mom last posted here in March of 2007. I am just a baby but if I can recall correctly it is now Dec. of 2007. What was she doing all this time? I have only had 1126 poopy diapers, 28 total fall out tantrums, 87 incidents with crayons and household objects but mostly I am easy as pie to take care of! Really she forgot she started this thing until my Aunt Alli started one for my best bud Sullivan. My mom is not very original these days, she says I sucked out all her brain cells when I was born, so really she is just a big copy cat. Anyway here are a few of Colin's latest Quests!
